BBQ is one of America’s favorite foods. There’s nothing quite like the smell of barbecued meat wafting through the air.
So what makes good BBQ? Well, let’s find out together.
#1. Ingredients Matter
First things first, quality ingredients matter. If you’re going to spend hours cooking food, you don’t want to waste your time using inferior ingredients.
Quality meats such as beef brisket, pork ribs, chicken thighs, and lamb shanks are ideal for slow smoking. They’ll give off a rich flavor that’s sure to please any barbecue lover.
#2. Seasonings Make All the Difference
Second, seasoning matters. Don’t skimp on the spices. Use plenty of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, and chili powder.
These are the main seasonings used in most recipes. However, you may add additional herbs and spices to enhance the Sabores of your food.

Meat should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit. If it doesn’t, place it back on the grill until it does.
When grilling, avoid overcrowding the grill. This causes smoke and grease buildup, which ruins the taste of your food.
Use tongs to remove meat from the grill. Never touch the meat directly with bare hands.
